The Ultra Heater from Aquael provides a clever way to regulate the temperature in an aquarium through the so called Smart Heating System (SHS). The SHS uses a built-in microprocessor in the heater that automatically uses the lowest heat output necessary. The processor can increase or decrease the power to maintain a constant temperature in the water. For example, at a very high room temperature, the processor will use the smallest appropriate output that is needed. This means that even sensitive aquatic animals can be kept safely and vitally.
This also has a positive effect on the long service life of the heater. In order to regulate the temperature only one button is needed which is surrounded by LED's that show the actual and the desired degree °C. The heater's housing is made of shatterproof plastic and is suitable for freshwater and marine tanks. All in all, 6 different versions from 25 to 200 Watt are available. The Ultra Heater ist delivered with a mounting support with 2 suction cups.
Note: The SHS is not included in the Ultra Heater heating rods 25 and 50 Watt.
