AquaEL Filter Ultramax BT

Smart Filtration with Bluetooth Control

The Aquael Ultramax BT is the evolution of the acclaimed Ultramax external filter, now with integrated Bluetooth control. Recognized by aquarists worldwide, this canister filter combines the reliability and performance of the original Ultramax with the convenience of remote control via the Aquael BT app (available for Android and iOS).

Total Control at Your Fingertips

With the Aquael BT app, you can adjust all filter settings directly from your smartphone or tablet, without needing to go to the aquarium. Control the power, water flow, turn the filter on or off — all remotely.

Infinitely Adjustable Power

The filter performance control is extremely simple and intuitive. Set the desired power level in the app and the filter responds accordingly. The adjustment is continuous and precise, allowing you to choose the exact percentage of power ideal for your aquarium.

Four Flow Modes

Choose from 4 different flow modes to suit the needs of your fish and plants:

• Constant — continuous, stable flow
• Pulse — pulsed flow that simulates natural currents
• Sinusoidal — smooth, undulating variation
• Intermittent — alternating between flow and pause periods

These modes allow you to simulate natural environmental conditions, stimulating fish and plants to grow healthier.

Day and Night Mode

With the Day and Night function, the filter adapts to the daily rhythm of the aquarium. You can schedule times when the filter runs more moderately, such as during the night or at feeding times, reducing fish stress. The filter gradually reduces and resumes flow in a smooth manner.

Patented Solutions

The Ultramax BT incorporates patented technologies that guarantee high-quality filtration and maximum user comfort:

• Integrated Prefilter — With a 0.6-litre capacity, the prefilter captures large debris before it reaches the filter media, extending maintenance cycles. Cleaning is simple: just lift the lid, remove the sponge, and rinse.
• Double Ball Valve System — Simultaneously closes the inlet and outlet of the filter, preventing water spills when disconnecting the hoses.
• Self-Priming System — With just 2 to 4 plunger movements, the filter fills with water and is ready to operate.

High Filtration Capacity

The Ultramax BT comes equipped with 5 filter media baskets, each with a 1.9-litre capacity. Together with the prefilter, the total filtration capacity reaches 10.1 litres. The total bucket volume is 16 litres, enabling extremely effective mechanical and biological filtration for both freshwater and marine aquariums.

Quiet Operation

Thanks to the ingenious impeller design and the ceramic pump axis, the Ultramax BT operates extremely quietly, even at maximum flow. Ideal for living rooms, bedrooms, or offices.

Compatible with Freshwater and Saltwater

The ceramic pump axis offers corrosion resistance, making this filter suitable for both freshwater and marine aquariums.
