CeramicNature crafts each plant bridge in brown ceramic by hand. The plant bridge has dimensions of 12 x 4.5 x 4cm and is a small ceramic bridge where moss or other plants can be easily attached. This action helps to anchor the moss and/or plants in the aquarium, preventing them from floating. In addition to acting as a weight, the plant bridge also functions as a biological filter. The ceramic structure is porous, allowing numerous bacteria to reside in the microcavities, which biologically decompose harmful substances in the aquarium water.
How to Use
There are two effective methods to attach moss or plants to the plant bridge: aquarium glue or fishing line. The use of aquarium glue provides a secure and long-lasting attachment, ensuring that the moss or plant remains firmly in place. Alternatively, fishing line offers a flexible and non-invasive option, allowing for easy adjustments and repositioning as needed. Over time, usually in a few weeks, the moss or plant will establish a strong attachment to the plant bridge, adhering firmly to its surface. Once firmly attached, the moss or plant can be easily moved or repositioned, providing flexibility in aquascaping arrangements. This versatility allows for creative freedom in designing and maintaining the aquarium environment, enabling enthusiasts to achieve the desired aesthetic while promoting healthy growth of aquatic vegetation.
