Application:

There are two primary methods for using Hobby Protogen:

a) Direct Use: After hatching the fry, add 6-12 grains of Protogen to the tank, depending on the number of juveniles. On the 2nd day, double the amount. Continue feeding as needed until the fry are ready for larger feed.

b) Pre-Culture: Prepare approximately 1g of Protogen with 1 liter of aquarium water in a small flat glass or plastic container at 18-25°C with good exposure to light. The cultures are ready for use within 24 hours and will multiply rapidly over time. Use a pipette to introduce the infusory solution near the fry.

Important Note: Always place the pre-culture or Protogen grains near the fry. Avoid using metal containers for Protogen cultures.
