TRIMARIN must not be used in aquariums with invertebrates such as Sea Anemones, Corals and Crustaceans. These have to be removed from your aquarium before using TRIMARIN. To treat diseases in aquariums with invertebrates use eSHa OODINEX. OODINEX treats a narrower spectrum of marine fish diseases but is safe to use in aquariums containing invertebrates.
Some diseases are very difficult to diagnose or may be misdiagnosed. For example, Fungus could result from another problem such as Fin Rot. It is therefore important to treat the source of the problem (Fin Rot) as well as the resulting secondary infection (Fungi). As TRIMARIN treats many diseases you will have a good chance of curing the original problem and improving the health of your fish. In certain cases it is more effective to keep an eye on a variety of symptoms that fish tend to exhibit when they are infected. These symptoms include:
*Shake head
*misty eyes
*Blood stains / Stitches
*mucus stains
*Place close to the surface
*Slimy skin / Red skin inflammations
*Open wounds / Bleeding skin
*breathing difficulties
*Oscillate (body sway)
* Bad appearance of the skin / Discoloration
* Rough scales / Loss of scales
*Rapid movement of gills
TRIMARIN treats a wide range of infections characterized by the symptoms described above. These infections are for the most part very contagious and can spread quickly to healthy fish. The sooner you treat your fish, the better your chances of a speedy recovery.
One 20ml bottle of eSHa TRIMARIN is sufficient for a full three day dosing for an 800 liter aquarium.
