JBL Sansibar Grey is a high-quality natural fine sand, ideal as a substrate for freshwater and marine aquariums as well as aquaterrariums. With an extra fine grain size (0.2–0.6 mm), it creates a compact and stable base, helping to reduce waste accumulation and keep the aquarium cleaner.
Its smooth, rounded grains make it especially safe for bottom-dwelling fish, preventing damage to sensitive barbels and mucous membranes. It is particularly suitable for species such as corydoras, loaches and other bottom feeders.
Chemically inert, it does not alter water parameters or release harmful substances, making it completely safe for fish, shrimp, invertebrates and aquatic plants.
