Jiban soil:
Jiban soil is a complete substrate for freshwater aquariums, developed by experts in chemistry, biology and environmental engineering. The highest quality raw materials of natural origin were used to produce Jiban soil, and this substrate is intended for high-tech aquariums equipped with intensive lighting and CO2 systems. A unique production process has enabled all the natural properties of the substrates used to be preserved. The revolutionary moulding and sintering technology has made it possible to develop a homogeneous and porous matrix, creating an ideal environment for the development of microorganisms and the root system of plants. In this way, the microorganisms remain in symbiosis with the plant and ensure perfect growth and appearance. In the long term, the use of our exclusive substrate ensures that nutrients and biostimulants are released into the aquarium. As an additional advantage, the high ion exchange capacity perfectly stabilises the water parameters. Our substrate reduces the general hardness and carbonaceous matter, corrects the pH, while providing the perfect environment for the breeding of tropical plants and fish from slightly acidic water biotopes.
Directions for use: The substrate is ready to use; it should not be rinsed. It should not be mixed with substrates or substrate bases from other producers. In a newly established aquarium, the bottom surface of the aquarium should be covered with a minimum layer of 6 cm of Jiban soil. The surface should be moistened with plenty of water and left to stand for 30 to 45 minutes. Plants should be added with tweezers, carefully burying the roots in the substrate. During the first 4 weeks, it is recommended to replace 25% to 50% of the water twice a week until the aquarium is stabilized. Over time, after filling or replacing the water in the aquarium for the first time, its parameters will further stabilize. It is recommended to use RO water with the addition of Ishiko mineral mineralizer for plants. Although tap water with a general hardness of no more than 20 dH is permitted, the substrate will lose its ion exchange properties.
To develop a perfect environment for plant roots and extend the life of the substrate, it is recommended to use the Ganban Power Base.
