Catappa bark pieces are tree bark fragments that have several positive properties and add a beautiful look to the aquarium or terrarium.
Catappa bark is often used in aquariums to provide natural tannins that mimic wild water and reduce pH levels. They are also used for their antibacterial properties. Due to the thickness of the bark, substances are released slowly, benefiting the animals for an extended period (around 4 months).
We recommend 1 piece of Catappa bark for a 75-100 liter aquarium.
How to Use
Simply leave the Catappa bark in the aquarium after it wears out. Shrimp, bottom-feeders, and crayfish can continue to enjoy the Catappa bark as a hiding spot.
