Also known as Candy Cane or Trumpet Corals. Fast-growing LPS coral ideal for beginners due to its hardiness. Each polyp can split into two forming large colonies.

Location

Found across the Indo-Pacific and Great Barrier Reef.

Lighting

Do not require strong lighting. Medium to low intensity works best and color remains stable.

Low Light	30 - 50 PAR per unit area
Medium Light	50 - 150 PAR per unit area
High Light	Above 150 PAR per unit area

Water Flow

Moderate flow is ideal to deliver food and remove mucus without stressing the coral.

Feeding

Can be fed with meaty foods like mysis or krill. Candy corals extend their tentacles when detecting food.
