More info

CO2 diffuser made of highly resistant to breakage acrylic.

New "Special" design with a more compact and aesthetic diffusion zone.

Thanks to its specially designed ceramic, it allows the generation of microbubbles of a minimum size, thus obtaining an ideal diffusion of CO2 in the aquarium.

Extended version for greater control and installation versatility, allowing its operation in any aquarium, without the need to insert the CO2 tube into the aquarium.

Dimensions of the Tiny size:

Diameter of the diffuser stone: 8mm.

Dimensions of the S size:

Diameter of the diffuser stone: 12mm.

Dimensions of the M size:

Diameter of the diffuser stone: 17mm.

L size dimensions:

Diameter of the airstone: 24mm.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS (RECOMMENDED TO WATCH THE VIDEO BELOW):

1) Insert the grey cord inside the diffuser duct.

2) Measure the height at which you want to place the diffuser in your aquarium and remember or mark the point where it should bend.

3) Apply heat with a lighter. The flame should not touch the diffuser excessively, as this may damage it. It is important to rotate the diffuser as it heats up. A slight inclination should be maintained so that the bend occurs in the desired direction.

4) If you notice that the diffuser duct is beginning to bend, turn off the burner and quickly place the diffuser in its position by sliding it from top to bottom, adapting the shape of the bend to that of the edge.

5) Hold the diffuser in position until the bend cools and maintains its shape.

6) Remove the grey cord and clean the bent area under the tap, as it may have acquired a slightly blackened color.

WARNING: AquaRIO Neo Diffusers produce a much finer bubble than most other brands of diffusers. Therefore, the flow rate to be used to obtain the desired CO2 concentration is lower than that which would be required with other diffusers, since the bubbles are finer and dissolve more easily.

In addition, the fact that the pores of the stone are so fine means that the diffuser should not be used with excessive pressure or flow rates, since in this case the diffuser stone may not be able to release all the CO2, which could result in the stone coming loose or CO2 leaking between the body and the stone.

We recommend using these diffusers with a maximum pressure of 50 PSI (0.34 MPa) and a maximum flow rate of 2 bubbles per second. If you require higher flow rates, we recommend using a larger diffuser model.

In addition, while the diffuser is operating, especially if the aquarium is in a very quiet environment, there may be a slight hissing sound. This is because CO2 is passing through the airstone; this sound does not indicate any defect and should not be a cause for concern.
