WARNING: AquaRIO Neo Diffuser diffusers provide a much finer bubble than most diffusers from other brands. This is why the flow rate to be used to achieve the desired CO2 concentration is lower than that which would be necessary with other diffusers, since the bubble is finer and dissolves more easily.
On the other hand, the fact that the pore of the stone is so fine means that the diffuser should not be used with excessive pressure or flow rate, because in this case, if the diffuser stone cannot remove all the CO2, it could cause the stone to become decoupled or a CO2 leak between the body and the stone.
Our advice is to use these diffusers with a maximum pressure of 50 PSi (0.34 Mpa) and a maximum flow rate of 2 bubbles per second. If you require higher flow rates, we recommend using a larger diffuser model.
Also, while the diffuser is in operation, especially if the aquarium is in a very quiet environment, a slight hissing noise may be heard. This is simply CO2 passing through the diffuser stone; this sound does not indicate a malfunction and should not be a cause for concern.
