The Aquael Ultramax is a innovative external filter which is characterised by a large water flow of 1.000 to 2.000 l/h. In addition, the device has a prefilter which absorbs any thick grime before it reaches the filter directly. In this way, the filter's cleaning cycle is prolonged. Due to a ceramic axle and the construction of the filter rotor a quiet operation is implemented. Furthermore, the ceramic axle makes it possible to use the filter for seawater aquariums.
The Ultramax is available in 3 different performance levels. Depending on the version, they are equipped with 3, 4 or 5 filter baskets.

The Ultramax 1.000 is delivered with 3 filter baskets, Ultramax 1.500 with 4 and Ultramax 2.000 with 5 baskets. In addition, each version is delivered with a filter casing with cover, 1 x set of filter elements (Aquael Wool Max Pro Filter Floss, BioCeraMax, Ultramax/Maxikani Super Finish), 2 x 1,5 m connection hoses, 2 x connection pipes, 4 x suction cups, deflector, prefilter basket, connection pipe and elbow piece.
