The FZN PRO filter is another innovative cascade filter idea in Aquael's portfolio. It is perfect for various tank types, from nano aquariums and shrimp tanks to larger tanks up to 300 liters. It's a great choice for small aquariums where the cascade waterfall creates a natural wave, mimicking ocean movement.

• Do you not want to wait for the filter to reach full performance? When using the FZN PRO filter, this issue does not occur. When the motor is submerged, the filter starts to work immediately after connecting without needing to be filled with water beforehand.
• Worried your filter won’t start when power is restored after an interruption? The FZN PRO filter starts immediately and cleans the water in your tank instantly. The motor is securely placed below the water surface, making even longer power outages no problem.
• With the telescopic adjustable* intake tube, you can adjust the length to fit each tank exactly. Adjust the water inlet position to match the substrate level in your tank, especially useful for unusual aquarium sizes.
• Adjust the filter's power to suit your needs with a large, practical adjustment knob on the top of the housing. This allows you to adjust the filter's operating power continuously.
• You can perfectly adjust the filter's position to your tank with a convenient round controller, precisely setting the water level by you.

Quiet as a Whisper

Aquael designers have ensured the FZN PRO filter operates as quietly as possible. The noise level of the largest filter in the range is only 32 dB – as quiet as a whisper. A well-thought-out design maximizes noise reduction:

• The filter outlet flush with the water surface produces a pleasant murmur instead of bubbly or loud overflow.
• The motor below the water surface naturally dampens sound through water's sound-absorbing effect.
• All contact points between the filter housing and aquarium glass are protected by rubber, reducing device vibration and preventing knocking or banging of the filter housing.
• Linear holes at the top of the housing reduce the resonance tube effect inside the device, improving gas exchange.

• Benefit from dedicated solutions… Don't want to spend much time operating the aquarium? Use the simplicity of prefabricated filter cartridges. With one handle, you can remove and clean or replace the basket* with special cartridges.
• Depending on the filter model, it contains 1 to 6 perforated filter cartridge holders:
  • FZN PRO 400 – 1 filter container
  • FZN PRO 700 – 2 filter containers
  • FZN PRO 1000 – 4 filter containers
  • FZN PRO 1500 – 6 filter containers
• You open the containers and put the bags with the chosen filter medium inside.
• You can choose from 3 types of carefully designed, replaceable cartridges:
  • Standard for effective filtration
  • Carbomax, which takes care of crystal clear water
  • Phosmax to reduce algae growth

Safety Comes First

We have made the FZN PRO filter entirely from non-corrosive components, ensuring it is safe and durable. Whether you have a freshwater aquarium or prefer a saltwater aquarium, the FZN PRO filter is an excellent choice.

Some users worry that the water supply hoses to an externally placed filter could accidentally detach, although this risk is minimal. The FZN PRO filter completely eliminates this possibility. By hanging the filter on the edge of the aquarium, there is no chance of water leaking.

The energy-saving motor requires minimal power consumption. The largest filter in the FZN PRO family, the FZN PRO 1500, operates with just 13 watts. Therefore, your finances are also secure.

Crystal Clear Water Surface

If your aquarium requires it, the filter can be complemented with a suitable skimmer*. It effectively filters the water surface, ensuring a crystal clear effect. The skimmer cleans the water surface of dust particles, organic deposits, or plant debris after trimming, which enthusiasts of open tanks and aquascapers particularly appreciate.

It should be noted that the skimmer does not require additional power supply. It is simply placed on the intake pipe with one handle. The skimmer is continuously adjustable, so its surface is always at the right height. If you do not need the skimmer, disconnect it without losing the filter's functionality.
