More info
The element ™ Ca Reactor provides and maintains a virtually constant ratio of calcium, magnesium and alkalinity, which is critical to the long-term success of reef aquariums. The element ™ Ca Reactor works by using CO 2 to react with a medium calcium reactor such as Seachem's Reef Reactor ™. CO 2 acidifies the water flowing through the reactor and thus dissolves the medium that releases calcium, magnesium, carbonates, among other elements and components of the chosen reactor medium. A tank full of CO 2 together with a pH probe and preferably a CO 2 control system are required and/or highly recommended for proper functionality of the ™ Ca Reactor element.
Easily removable inner chamber
The inner chamber can be removed without complete decomposition, facilitating cleaning, changing or filling the media.
CO 2 Recycling Resource
Make full use of the CO 2 injection by recirculating it using element ™ Ca's CO 2 recycling feature. This also offers potential savings on the cost of CO 2 containers and refills
High capacity chamber
The reactor chamber can hold up to 1.2 liters of your choice of calcium media.
Highly reactive probe placement
Allows rapid controller response to avoid excessive CO 2 injection . It saves CO 2 and allows for consistent and efficient dosing.
Powerful External Pump
Allows greater column flow volume with more contact time and surface area. Allows easy maintenance of the pump at any time.
