How to Use AquaForest Hybrid Pro Salt
- Use RODI water at approximately 24°C (75°F).
- For a salinity of 33 ppt (1.025 S.G.), add about 390 g (13.75 oz.) of salt per 10 litres (2.7 US gal) of water.
- Stir vigorously for about 15 minutes until the salt fully dissolves and the water becomes clear.
- Check the salinity with a refractometer before use.
- Done! Your saltwater is ready for use.
Storage & Preservation
- Store the salt in a dry, dark place.
- Once dissolved, use the mixture within 3 days.
- If storing the saltwater for an extended period, recheck the salinity before use.
Additional Tips
- Maintain dKH between 7.5-8.5 to support probiotic bacterial growth.
- When setting up a new aquarium, introduce fish and corals no earlier than 10-14 days after stabilising the water parameters.
