Majestic ornamental fish with predatory behavior and a commanding presence in large aquariums

Native to tropical regions such as South America, Southeast Asia, and Australia, the Arowana can grow to impressive sizes and requires experienced care.
Belonging to the Osteoglossidae family, Arowanas have elongated bodies, large upturned mouths adapted for surface feeding, and are known for their jumping ability—making a secure tank lid essential to prevent escape.
