More info
Nymphoides hydrophylla ‘Taiwan’ is an exceptionally attractive aquatic plant known for its round, bright green leaves and its capacity to produce floating lily-like foliage. This species adds a natural and elegant touch to freshwater aquariums, paludariums, and aquascapes. Under good lighting and stable conditions, it may even produce delicate white flowers.
It is a fast-growing plant that spreads via runners, forming new plantlets that quickly create a lush, full appearance. Although it does not require CO₂ injection, additional CO₂ and regular fertilisation greatly improve growth and leaf size. It can be used as a midground feature or allowed to develop floating leaves for a more wild, natural effect.
