More info
Anubias barteri var. coffeefolia is a hardy and decorative aquatic plant, ideal for freshwater aquariums. Its dark green, textured leaves with prominent veins add a natural and elegant touch to any aquascape. This variety is well-suited for both beginners and experienced aquarists due to its ease of care and adaptability.
It grows slowly and prefers to be attached to hardscape elements like driftwood or rocks. The rhizome should never be buried, as this can cause it to rot. While it does not require CO₂ injection, the addition of carbon dioxide and liquid fertilization can promote healthier, more vigorous growth. Anubias coffeefolia is tolerant of a wide range of water parameters and is ideal for midground or background placement in the aquarium.
