Ophiopogon japonicus ‘Variegata’, also known as Variegated Mondo Grass or Japanese Lilyturf Variegata, is an ornamental rhizomatous plant native to Asia. Its arching leaves feature striking cream or white margins with a vibrant green center, adding elegance and brightness to aquariums, paludariums, or terrariums.
With slow growth and a dense clumping habit, this plant is perfect for foreground or border placement. It adapts well to low to moderate light conditions and does not require CO₂ injection. It can also be grown emersed, making it highly suitable for paludariums and humid terrarium setups.
