The Sera Raffy I Nature is a high-quality snack designed specifically for adult turtles and other small carnivorous reptiles and amphibians. This varied diet, adapted to the animals' needs, contains a mix of natural ingredients, including gammarus and shrimp.
Sera Raffy I Nature is free from artificial colors and preservatives and consists of carefully dried gammarus (43.5%), shrimp (43.5%), small fish, and krill. This mixture provides a natural spectrum of nutrition, rich in easily assimilable proteins, omega fatty acids, valuable carotenoids, minerals, and trace elements, as well as fibers that regulate digestion.
This tasty snack, when regularly distributed, promotes the immune system, development, and vitality of the animals.
Note: Regarding the formula change in late 2021: Gammarus pulex has always been the preferred natural food for carnivorous aquatic turtles. Traditionally, this is due to its high-quality nutritional profile and high availability. Unfortunately, the consequences of climate change are already being felt in this context. The warming of the source waters in 2021 had a negative impact on the volume of gammarus collection. Since sera is committed to sustainable harvesting, which is the only way to ensure a permanent contribution to the species' preservation, sera decided to include shrimp in the formula of the Sera Raffy I product. The shrimp replace 50% of the gammarus proportion and, thanks to their higher protein content, provide an even better nutritional balance. At the same time, the gammarus still present in the product ensures adequate nutrition for the animals with calcium, magnesium, trace elements, and beta-carotene.
